End of Furlough Grant

With the furlough scheme coming to an end on 31st October 2020, UK employees and employers will find support from the 1 November 2020 through the government's Job Support Scheme.

However, the scheme will only go so far, and many will face increased hardships.

To support those facing the hardest challenges, The Drinks Trust has created an emergency financial grant. 500 grants are available of £250 to industry workers in any position or role in the hospitality sector.

Apply for the End of Furlough Grant.

Who can apply for the grant?

Grants are available to those who fit the following criteria:

  • Applicants must have worked in the drinks industry or hospitality with drinks for a minimum of 2 years part-time or 1 year full-time.
  • Applicants who have already received an emergency financial grant from The Drinks Trust are not eligible.
  • Open to those who have recently been made redundant and not yet secured new employment, and those who have been put on flexi-furlough with decreased income.
  • Applications assessed based on hardship and The Drinks Trust encourages anyone in challenging financial circumstances to apply.

Wellness services, including counselling sessions, sleep & insomnia treatment, as well as mindful drinking courses are also available. Find out more on The Drinks Trust website.
