The creator says: "As an Adelaide born bartender who spent most of their life in Melbourne learning the trade until only relatively recently returning to Adelaide, entering a comp using 'Adelaide Gin' was a great opportunity for me to enter a comp playing on my upbringing in Adelaide.
I thought of flavours that are close to me because of my childhood and upbringing in the Adelaide hills. Blackberry. Cranberry. Wine region. Craft breweries. I've attempted to create an all seasons gin cocktail that emphasises Adelaide flavours, that can be served all year round. Which the botanicals in Australian Distilling Co. Adelaide Gin are perfectly accompanied by, still leaving the gin as the natural 'hero' of the drink."
