Owned by Asahi Europe Ltd, the Birra Peroni brewery in Padua was built in February 1973, in the industrial area of Padua, next to an earlier bottling plant which dates back to 1960. The brewery occupies an area of 73,300 square meters and has an annual average production capacity of 1.8 million hectoliters, most of which are exported and are dedicated to the foreign market.

The brewery produces Peroni, Peroni Gran Riserva Doppio Malto, Peroni Gran Riserva Rossa, Peroni Gran Riserva Puro Malto, Peroni Cruda, Peroni Forte, Peroncino, Nastro Azzurro and Peroni Nastro Azzurro, as well as other brands of beer owned by Asahi, including Wuhrer, Crystall, Itala Pilsen and Miller Genuine Draft, and from late 2017, Asahi Super Dry.
