Founded in 1838 by the ancestors of the Roullet family, the Fransac cognac house blended and traded cognac for generations, and the company is still based on the bank of the Charente River in the heart of Cognac in a mansion built in 1760. Today, the company is best known outside of France for its Bauchant branded flavoured cognac liqueurs.
