Montanya Distillers was founded by Karen and Brice Hoskin in April 2008 after a visit to Guatemala and their discovery of the altitude-aged rums of Ron Zacapa. They decided to build their distillery in the mountains of Colorado. Karen primarily handles sales, graphic design and marketing while her husband oversees distilling.
