Made as instructed but stirred for longer rather than adding a splash of water. Didn’t think I was going to enjoy it but this one is great. Definitely one for my rotation.

Quite tangy to begin with but softens with each sip. A very good sour and one I’ll make again for sure.
Couple of negative(ish) comments here, but I made this as directed and very much enjoyed it. Got a lovely foam with the egg white. Just the right sweet/sour balance for my palate. I’m putting it in my little black book!
Nice drink, but it’s missing something. Maybe I’m just not a vodka cocktail fan, felt like there was no underlying punch/hit to it.
How on earth have I missed this one? Just perfect following the recipe as published. It’s a shame it looks a little flat without ice or a garnish. (maybe I’ll pimp it up next time with something to make it look better🤔)
I make this with Diplomatico rum and I far prefer this to a regular vodka Espresso Martini. Swap the Kahlua out for Mr Blacks and a dash of simple syrup for an Espresso on steroids. Love it!
Excellent variation on a Brasil. Honey syrup is a nice change to simple sugar syrup.
Excellent cocktail. Such a good combination of ingredients. Will certainly be on my repeat list.
Just picked this recipe up on instagram. It’s quite a large drink by volume (make sure your glass is big enough) but very enjoyable. Perhaps a little too easy to drink 🥴
Followed recipe to the letter and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a sweet drink but didn’t spoil my enjoyment. (In fact I’m probably going to make another one right now) Looking forward to trying the Comte de Sureau next.
A nice drink but not outstanding. Definitely an after dinner sipper rather than an early evening party starter.
Delicious, but I’m a little wary to have two. It’s very boozy….. Oh go on then, I’ll have another one ?
Was looking forward to this based on the individual ingredients. Disappointingly, the sum of those ingredients didn’t add up to anything special (for me). It wasn’t terrible, just not great. I also agree with an earlier comment about the aftertaste.
Gorgeous. Nothing more to say.
Gorgeous. Take care though, while it’s boozy it’s very drinkable. Definitely one for my little book of favourites ?
This was a real crowd pleaser at a recent get together. Definitely recommend. (Also made Beelzebubs which went down well too)
You must try this, it’s delicious. The review above is exactly right, surprisingly well balanced with big flavours. It really does get better with each sip.
Outstanding. I’ve now tried this with San Cosme and a smokier Siete Misterios and on balance I prefer it more Smokey.
Well I think I did something wrong. I doubled up all ingredients (including the ice) to make two drinks. Turned out very watery and bkand. Maybe I should have just used 6oz for both drinks instead of 12oz (doh!)
I wasn’t expecting to like this but tried it based on the positive comments. Pleased I did, very good indeed, an enjoyable sipper. Just curious, is this cocktail called Mad Men or Made Men?
Delicious…. I think I’ll have another. I would say this is a 3 to 4 on the sweetness scale
My Best discovery so far this year. Love it
This one has been on my “ to do” list for a while. Made it tonight, with no modifications to instructions. Earlier posts big this one up .. they’re not wrong. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Haven’t been able to find anything new and special for quite a while now until this one. Simply delicious and far too easy to drink.
