Surprisingly good - like Christmas in a coupe!
An undiscovered gem. Complex, fruity and well-balanced; it’s probably in my top 5. It also goes to show how low(ish)-alcohol cocktails can punch above their weight (I tried the Adriatique the other day and loved that too!).
It did come out a bit sweet, but I really enjoyed it nonetheless. Having read previous comments, I upped the quantities by 50% to better fill my UB coupe. This one’s definitely a keeper.
Didn’t have cherry bitters either, so substituted as per John Hinojos’ suggestion - thanks. Lovely, boozy late-night sipper (much darker than photo though).
Haven’t invested in a bottle of Heering yet, so improvised with 1/4 oz of Luxardo Maraschino and 1/4 oz of Luxardo cherry syrup. Still delicious!
Favourite Tequila cocktail so far. Used homemade grenadine and slightly increased (~5/8 oz) lime. Thanks for such a great resource.
