Excellent cocktail, great late night sipper. I love the bold flavours, and it's remarkably balanced as well.

First cocktail I made with a newly acquired bottle of Biker's Bitters. I'm not certain how strong the flavor of the bitters are specifically, but this is an absolutely lovely cocktail. I will be making this again!
Excellent cocktail. I'm not a huge martini dan but this one works for me. A new favorite!
After additional experimentation, I now bump Rye and Cognac (I really like that blend), and Sweet Vermouth to 1 oz each; 1/2 oz Dom B; 3 dashes Peychauds; 2 dashes Angostura. And I now generally serve it "up." It's a good sized drink, and for a smaller one Mr. Difford's proportions work very well as well. I just like slightly more of the Benedictine. Cheers to all!
That's exactly how I make it as well. It's practically two drinks in one with the amount of booze in there, but it's such a great cocktail that I don't mind at all. In fact, I have one in front of me right now.
I think this is one of the finest Mezcal cocktails, because it blends so nicely with the other ingredients. Not sure if it matters but I used Carpano Antica as vermouth.
Underrated cocktail in my opinion. I make this regularly and absolutely love it!
I really like this cocktail, but with all the big flavours I can't really taste wether I do or don't add the 5ml cold Earl Grey. I suppose it's just my unrefined palate?
If I want to make a whisky sour, this is my go to. Excellent drink.
Very nice drink. I was looking for a good use of Frangelico. But, I think next time I might add a few dashes of orange bitters to up the bitterness and add a bit more complexity.
Good tip
Tried it for the first time, with bitters. Definitely a nice balanced cocktail.
I don't have Celery Gin so I used Beefeater and added a dash or two of celery bitters. I really like the version without, but it's even better with the bitters for my taste. Great recipe either way!
Made this one with Pierre Ferrand's Dry Curacao instead of Grand Marnier and it came out great. Great summer evening drink.
This tastes like Christmas. I love it! Made this with Gordon's Slow Gin, Antica Formula sweet vermouth, Noily Prat dry vermouth, Bitter Truth Jerry Thomas Decanter Bitters and De Kuyper Orange bitters.
This reminds me of Christmas. I love it!
