Nice drink but you need to make sure that you add some of the Maraschino cherry syrup with the cherry otherwise it needs about 15ml of simple syrup.
Beautiful warm weather drink seemed better with lime juice instead of lemon juice.
Ok, not great. Seemed a bit watery, use minimal nutmeg.
OMG, I tried this drink, then I had another one & I kept having them until I ran out of eggs. This would be up with some of the best drinks I've ever had. Just one point is to keep the dusting of cinnamon light, don't over do it as it does ruin this drink if you go to heavy.
Just not as good as other Manhattan's, if anything, I would say this is the furthest from a true Manhattan that I've had. I think if you hadn't had a Manhattan before it wouldn't be too bad though. Definitely worth a try.
That is a well-balanced drink, I tried it without the Maraschino cherry and it wasn't as nice in my opinion so I'd definitely recommend making sure you've got some on hand.
Best done with Le Tribute Gin because it already has that Lime base. Just a smooth drink.
Gin, Elderflower liqueur, Lime juice
Just too boozy for me, can't put my finger on what it is that I'm not a fan of.
Definitely a different taste, I think it's the triple sec that is the savior of this drink. Make sure you squeeze your orange zest over the drink, the oils help with the flavor immensely.
Looked absolutely amazing but I found the Campari a bit too overpowering.
Most definitely one of the best Singapore Slings I've tried and one I am sure to make again in the future. Thanks Dale, you have come up with a killer combination.
I think it's just a little boozy for me when you're drinking it, the after-taste is quite pleasant, just needs something to knock that initial harsh edge off it, not much but something.
I used Plymouth Sloe gin instead of Sour cherry gin and found it to be a little better. Found it to be a little tart with the Sour cherry gin.
Nice drink, would serve well in the tropics.
Chocolate liqueur, Butterscotch liqueur, Goldwasser liqueur
A melon hit at first followed by quite a distinctive lemon hit later. Best served in warmer weather.
Over-ridden by Baileys, wasn't great but wasn't terrible. Tried it by swapping Baileys with Disaronno Velvet Liqueur & Butterscotch Liqueur with Butterscotch Schnapps & it was a total winner.
Sweet cinnamon is the first hit followed by a hint of pear. Will definitely be on my "to make again" list. Not recommended for those that don't want sweet.
Thought this would be a bit weird and I wasn't wrong but in a good way. You definitely don't want to skimp on the chocolate rim, it really is the maker of this drink.
A smashing little shot with a real apple pie after taste. I found it better with full cream rather than single cream & don't skimp on the cinnamon & is my recommendation.
Not a fan, couldn't quite put my finger on what I didn't like about this drink but there was something that just didn't taste nice.
