Bought a bottle of creme de noyaux on the basis of Tempus Fugit's reputation, never having tried it. Almost the entire bottle has gone in to these delicious concoctions.

I will try one with the Cocchi Americano...as soon as I can get my hands on some more creme de noyaux

The Lillet Blanc is delicious but the Cocchi Americano really does add an extra note that is quite tasty.

Note to Americans, British lemonade is quite different to what we think of as lemonade. 7-up or Sprite will be the easiest substitutions here.

The Paper Plane works well with cognac, especially with a slightly higher proportion of base spirit. What are the Mile High's origins? The name suggests a Denver connection.

Could also be a riff on planes? Although usually 'mile high' on a plane refers to a particular club...

A good reminder to the Americans among us (specifically me) that it can be good to switch the measurements to metric, especially when you find something like 5/12s of an ounce, which I confidently poured as 5/6s.

Cannot give it a rating, but I will definitely add some bitters the next time I want a nip of bourbon.

I didn't have any cognac, but I did have some Armagnac. I like it, but it has notable sweetness, so I too thought this would be too sweet.

But no, it is quite nice.

Also tried one replacing the cognac with a split mezcal/seales 10 yr old rum. This has been a great go to for a lot of sours for me, and it’s really great here.

Not sure that I like it in the 1:1:1 ratio but then the only 1:1 drink that's my favorite is the Last Word.

First time using Suze and it is thuggish...but I like the flavor. Neat vegital herbaceousness on the back end that you don't get with Campari. I look forward to playing with it.

Up the gin, dial back the Suze and

I didn't make this recipe but I did just found myself out of lemons. Likely due to the number of Aviations I've been making of late, if I had to guess.

I made my normal but 1:1 sub lime for the lemon. I like it and I support this line of inquiry. I do think I need a more assertive gin.
