A slightly herbal Daiquiri, refreshing with complexity. I used a Plantation Dark Rum (my favorite Black Rum), but lime juice overwhelms all ingredients. Next time I will reduce lime juice a little bit (20ml) or use an overproof old jamaican rum. Anyway, I recommend this cocktail and making your own adjustments.
Quite sweet and boozy, yet it is a well balanced drink and I liked it. I shaked with crush ice to have more dilution, added a dash of saline solution, and used Martin Miller Gin and Rhum agricole overproof. Great, but I will try next time with Jamaican overproof rum.
Refreshing, flavors are quite complex but it is still very easy to drink. I tried it with a home-made shrub orange and it was really good. If you like vermouth, you should try this recipe. Great for hot summer days!
Outstanding. Chartreuse is an exceptional liqueur, and this recipe sublimates it. Fortunately, I made too much pineapple juice, so I have a good excuse to drink another one...
