When I had my first two sips I felt something was missing; Added two drops of saline and that feeling went away. Entirely possible that that's placebo, but either way the end result is very tasty. If someone said that they wanted to get into bitter drinks but couldn't handle a negroni, I think I'd give them this.

I'm not entirely sure why, but I feel like this drink would be better made with clarified (or otherwise de-pulped) lime juice and done as a stirred drink for textural reasons, although I don't actually have the patience to test that. It's excellent either way, though.
