Based on Barbados 1 to 3 year-old twin column and pot still rums matured in heavy charred American oak barrels in the Caribbean tropical climate and then shipped to Cognac in France where the rums are aged a second time in medium-toasted French oak casks.
A selection of these double-aged casks are blended with a smaller volume of Jamaican high-ester 10 to 15 year-old pot still (John Dore) rums.
The final blend is further matured and married in a wooden vat for a further 3 to 6 months in Cognac prior to bottling.

Clear, deep golden amber with burnished copper glints.
Pungent, toasty/scorched oak with funky cherry, banana fruit, coconut, vanilla and clove spice.
Toasty and spicy. Burnt Demerara sugar richness counters dry toasty oak tannins with blackened fruit cake, cinnamon, and clove.
Long spiced crème brûlée finish.
Burnt Demerara sugar / crème brûlée and warming Christmasy spice with a touch of Jamaican fruity funk.
