In its home market this Barbadian rum is still branded by its original name ‘Sugar Cane Brandy’. Of course this is not a brandy, hence the name’s restriction in many markets including Europe and America.

The reference to brandy is due to this rum originally containing more pot still rums, so having something of the character of brandy.

It is blended from pot and continuously distilled rums aged between four and six years.
