This strong blonde ale was first brewed in 1998 by Hugues Dubuisson to celebrate the 65th anniversary of Bush Ambrée, originally brewed by his grandfather. Bush Blond is brewed using traditional malts with Saaz hops and an extended fermentation for a heady 10.5% alc./vol.

Appearance:

Cloudy, sandy orange yellow with thin white head.

Aroma:

Yeasty (almost Marmite-like) malt with biscuity pear skin.

Taste:

Spicy biscuity malt, pear skin, black pepper and clove spice.

Aftertaste:

Clove and black pepper spice.
