The Ketel 1 name is recognisable, due to the Nolet's successful Ketel One Vodka, named, like this jenever, for their coal-fired No.1 pot still. This jonge jenever is based on a blend of wheat, rye and maize spirit rested in 217 litre French oak casks for a year and flavoured with 14 botanicals.

Ketel 1 Jenever was launched in 1977.
