Review and Tasting

Sampled on 13/06/2022

Appearance:

Clear and bright, golden amber.

Aroma:

Wonderfully aromatic. Buttery chamois leather, vanilla, tobacco leaf and Rooibos tea with tarte tatin.

Taste:

100 proof delivers spiritous spice which fades to reveal an elegantly aged grappa with toasty buttery oak, vanilla and delicate apple and grape fruitiness.

Aftertaste:

Long finish with lingering buttery vanilla, graceful oak, and warming spice.

Overall:

An excellent aged grappa at a generous bottling strength to compete with a good armagnac.
