Released in January 2016, This Norwegian aquavit was created by Master blender Ivan Abrahamsen using 11 different botanicals, including Norwegian caraway, star anise, coriander, bitter orange peels and ginger.

Lysholm No.52 is named in tribute to Jørgen B. Lysholm, a Norwegian who after studying chemistry in Berlin returned to Norway in 1820 to establish his own distillery and create the foundation for today’s Norwegian aquavits. The recipe selected for the final product was the 52nd to be tried during the product’s developed, hence the name No52.

The brand owners suggest enjoying Lysholm No.52 served tall over ice with tonic water (1 part Lysholm No.52 to 2 parts tonic) and garnishing with a slice of lemon or cucumber.
