Zepis Kreol is based on a blend of pot and column distilled molasses rums, macerated with locally grown Seychelles spices before being pressed with ex-merlot wood fines.
An 8 year old Bajan Foursquare rum is added before resting for 60 days inside very old ex-bourbon casks. Finally, Takamaka Zepis Kreol rum is then ready for bottling without chill filtration. (No colouring or artificial flavouring is added.)

Appearance:
Clear, deep golden amber.
Aroma:
Freshly sawn scorched oak with cinnamon, nutmeg and a touch of clove.
Taste:
Subtle sugary sweetness balances bitter oak tannins with assertive cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove spice.
Aftertaste:
Long. Lingering oak tannins with warming clove and cinnamon spices.
Overall:
Although not described as being a "spiced rum" the added spices in this Takamaka bottling make it as spicy as many rums labelled as such.
