Review and Tasting

Sampled on 05/09/2011

Appearance:

Hazy, opaque dark brown.

Aroma:

Chocolatey, reminiscent of drinking chocolate powder.

Taste:

Dark chocolate, toasty, malty with very light spiciness and a hint of peaty smoke. Quite an unexpectedly subdued palate given this beer dark hue.

Aftertaste:

Mocha coffee with a slight smokiness
