The Espadín agave used to make this mezcal are roasted in a earthen horno (oven) carved into the granite hillside and this contributes to its unique flavour.

Del Maguey Las Milpas Mezcal is made by Anastacio Cruz Antonio and sons Rigoberto, Abel & Pedro using copper pot stills at their palenque among the cornfields in the village of Las Milpas, high above the Central Valleys of Oaxaca.
