Kirkland Irish | Domaine Canton | Laphroiag Cask Strength | Super Lemon Juice ... agree with other commenters that this is a fine and well balanced cocktail, interesting how much everything shines through despite being low proportion. works with a cheap irish whiskey too

Had as our evening cocktail on St. Patrick's Day. All the ingredients work perfectly. The peaty of the Scotch add a wonderful hint of smoke without being overpowering. Great cocktail.

I'm not a great fan of green crème de menthe, so it's always a great joy to find a recipe that doesn't rely on it. And what a cocktail this is! A perfect blend of flesh flavours, a hint of smokiness, an all-round great way to kick off the weekend!

A very acceptable substitute for the overabundance of green drinks on St. Paddy's day. A delicious Irish sour made infinitely more interesting with the addition of peaty Islay and ginger liqueur.

I omitted the gold flakes but otherwise reproduced the ingredients faithfully. Refreshing and well-balanced, a nice riff on the penicillin.
