I watch Gone with the Wind every summer with my now 86 year old grandmother. I'll shake this up and let her know she's having a tall glass of Rhett Butler. Thanks for the very contemporaneous drink :)

This is a very enjoyable drink. Easy to make, balanced, but leaning sour. After a hot afternoon, working outdoors, I found it to be quite refreshing. This could have put Rhett in a far better mood, possibly postponing the confrontation with Scarlett.

Had no grand marnier available so used an equal amount of triple sec and 1/3 ounce cognac. Reminded me of a sweeter cosmopolitan with subtle woody notes from the brandy. Refreshing!

Very refreshing. Good afternoon drink. Did make one change and only used 1/2 oz. of the Southern Comfort and used Bourbon for the other 1/2 oz. Made the drink a little more sour, but still with a sweet, fruity taste.
