História:
Recipe from W. J. Tarling's 1937 Café Royal Cocktail Book (Coronation Edition) which says this drink was "Invented by A. A. Tarling". Arthur Tarling was the head bartender at London's Café Royal and was also the older brother of W. J. "Billy" Tarling, the book's author.
