Ingredients:
1 oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
1 oz Ferro China Baliva
1 oz Strucchi Rosso Vermouth
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill an Old-fashioned glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. STRAIN into ice-filled glass.
  5. EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Review:

Black in colour and with a flavour that's recognisably part of the Negroni family but with a flat Coke-like smoothness that makes a classic Negroni taste harsh in comparison.

What is a good sub for the Ferro China?

Needs to be ferro China as it has a very distinctive taste. Bisleri Ferro China is the only other ferro china, but it is a little different to Baliva.

Really tasty and sophisticated, less bitter than the traditional negroni (which I like too but find the iron one even better - Darker colour though).
