1 13 oz Rémy Martin V.S.O.P. cognac
23 oz Orange Curaçao liqueur
23 oz Kummel liqueur
2 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Nick & Nora glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.
  3. STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

History:

Created by Salvatore Calabrese who in October 2012 broke the Guinness World Record for the most expensive cocktail in the world by making this recipe using a 1788 cognac, a 1770 kümmel, an 1860 orange curaçao, and Angostura Bitters from 1900. A total of "733 years of liquid history in one drink, pricing the cocktail at £5,500."
