Glass:

Serve in a Collins glass

Ingredients:
12 fresh Mint leaves
1 12 fl oz Calvados / apple brandy / straight applejack
12 fl oz Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
13 fl oz Apple Schnapps liqueur
13 fl oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2 sugar to 1 water, 65.0°Brix)
1 12 fl oz Sparkling apple juice
× 1 1 serving

Prepare:

  1. Select and pre-chill a COLLINS GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of mint sprig

How to make:

  1. ADD first 5 ingredients to glass two-thirds filled with crushed ice.
  2. CHURN (stir) with bar spoon.
  3. Fill glass with more crushed ice.
  4. TOP with apple soda and briefly stir.

Garnish:

  1. Garnish with mint sprigs bouquet.

Review:

An enduring classic given a touch of apple. Those with a sweet tooth may want to add more apple liqueur or even a dash of sugar syrup.
