Ingredients:
34 oz Hayman's London Dry Gin
34 oz Gentian liqueur (e.g. Suze, Salers etc)
34 oz Yellow Chartreuse (or génépy liqueur)
34 oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
× 1 1 serving

How to make:

  1. Select and pre-chill a Coupe glass.
  2. Prepare garnish of coin-sized lemon zest twist.
  3. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. STRAIN into chilled glass.
  5. EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

History:

Adapted from a recipe created in 2020 by Franck Audoux at the Cravan Café Bar in Paris France. This modern-day cocktail is apparently a version of a 1920s cocktail that was popular along the Riviera.

Made two half-size versions. The first, too much Suze. Second shake, shifted the balance 10 ml Suze, 20 ml Chartreuse. So much better. (11 Dec 2022, 4:09a)
