Maraschino cherry, after straining, in bottom of glass.
Add all ingredients to a mixing tin, add 3-4 hand cracked ice cubes, fill with whole cubed ice, stir to chill and dilute (approx 30 seconds). Strain into chilled coupe/champagne saucer.

| 1 2/3 fl oz | Rittenhouse bottled-in-bond straight rye whiskey |
| 1/2 fl oz | Rainwater/Verdelho (med-dry) madeira wine |
| 2 dash | The Bitter Truth Creole Bitters |
