Following two successful BrandStarter days at the Bar Convent Berlin in 2015 and 2016, Distill Ventures returns to Europe's largest bar show. On 11th October 2017 they will be hosting another full day of valuable knowledge sharing sessions aimed at drinks entrepreneurs.

East London Liquor Company
Alex Wolpert may not be a distiller, but for the past 7 years he's been entrenched in London's spirits scene, working with some of the best products, producers and bartenders in today's industry. Wanting more drink options where provenance and quality didn't mean compromising on price, he launched East London Liquor Company in April 2014 with the idea of opening a distillery back in the heart of the capital's old spirits industry, that produced accessible spirits Londoners would enjoy, without breaking the bank. East London Liquor Company now produces and imports a range of quality spirits including gins, vodka, rum and whisky and serves, not only the London market, but the rest of the UK and beyond.
Ferrand Deutschland GmbH
Enno Proff, General Manager of Ferrand Deutschland GmbH has founded the subsidiary of Maison Ferrand, Cognac/France in 2000. Cognac Ferrand is the producer of Fine Sprits like Cognac Pierre Ferrand, Rum Plantation and Gin Citadelle. Ferrand Deutschland distributes all the products of Maison Ferrand in Germany and Austria and distribute some other brands too. Enno Proff launched out the business with about 20.000,- € turnover in 2000 und Up to now the turnover is about 6 Mill. Euro.
Kyrö Distillery Company
Miika Lipiäinen is one of the founders and the CEO of Kyrö Distillery Company - a Finnish distillery founded for the sole purpose of distilling beatiful spirits out of rye in Isokyrö, Finland. Kyrö's rye gins, Napue and Koskue were launched in 2014 and have since changed the Finnish gin market and are now available in a number of export markets. Kyrö's first single malt rye whisky has been launched in 2017. In the three years of operation Kyrö has grown sales and production to go above 20 000 9l cases in 2016."
After his business studies in Germany and abroad Maximilian first worked in classic marketing before joining a (back then) small gin distillery in Munich; his entrance into the drinks industry. 2013 he left the gin business and founded Belsazar, together with Sebastian Brack. This company produces the first German vermouth. Maximilian Wagner is here especially responsible for production and organization of internal and external matters.
Dan spent his early years working for some of the world's largest drinks businesses, he then broke away to set up and run his own business and later set about supporting other start ups and growing businesses to help realise their potential. His deep experience in sales and marketing coupled to an encyclopaedic knowledge of the drinks world, means he can help you create brilliant sales strategies and trade marketing activations that will shift the dial.
