Cristiano Beretta is a respected member of the Australian bartender community, combining almost 20 years of passion for the craft, a love for bartending, bars and cocktails.
Coming from a family of bar owners in Brescia, Lombardy, Italy, Cristiano was destined to work in bars and restaurants. After earning his stripes in pubs and nightclubs in London, running around the floor and polishing glasses, Cristiano got behind the bar in the late 90’s and has never looked back.
In 2006, Cristiano moved to Melbourne, Australia; tending and managing a small cocktail bar called Black Pearl. During his time there he helped Black Pearl became one of Australia best loved and awarded cocktail bars. Also nominated as one of top 4 best international cocktail bar at Tales of Cocktail in New Orleans and been in the Top 50’s Best cocktail bars in the World list.
In 2012, Cristiano moved to Sydney to work for The Keystone Group. He is running their training program and also managing their cocktail bar ‘The Rook’ leading it to be nominated for Best Cocktail List 2013, nominated as Manager of the Year 2013, 2014 and 2015. Cristiano came third in Australian Bartender of The Year 2013 and won A.L.I.A Bar Manager of the Year 2015.

Method: Shake first 8 ingredients with ice and strain into ice-filled glass. Top with soda.
• 40ml Four Pillars spiced gin
• 15ml Cherry Heering
• 10ml Triple sec
• 10ml Bénédictine D.O.M.
• 10ml Pomegranate syrup
• 15ml Lime juice
• 30ml Pineapple juice
• 2 dashes Angostura bitter
• Top with splash soda water
