Hayden Wood (aka Woody) is an internationally known bartender, beverage consultant, entrepreneur and author: Liquid Kitchen Series. His philosophy to use simple every-day ingredients such as fresh fruits and affordable brands when mixing cocktails. Woody is recognised around the globe for his ability to help home entertainers find confidence in their own liquid kitchen with delicious, doable and easy to prepare party recipes.
Born in New Zealand, Woody started his humble beginnings distilling homemade spirits and mixing cocktails at the age of 14. He quickly learned that he could charge good money for organising a party and that people often felt more relaxed at home. He studied beer brewing, wine making and drink mixing in his hometown of Napier, which became the ethos and foundation of his beverage career that started in the barn on his parent’s farm.

Method: Stir all ingredients with ice and strain into ice-filled glass.

• 30ml Campari
• 30ml Sweet vermouth
• 30ml Cherry Heering
• 2-3 dashes of Angostura Aromatic Bitters
