Next door to the picturesque Strathisla distillery on the River Isla, Glen Keith is also owned by Pernod Ricard's Chivas Brothers. Glen Keith was built on the site of a corn mill and had the first gas-fired still in Scotland.

Mothballed in 1999, Pernod Ricard’s Chivas Brothers whisky division reopened an expanded Glen Keith distillery in June 2013. The expansion included new malt storage facilities and other improvement which allows the distillery to produce 50% more malt.
