A Japanese restaurant and bar, Zuma Dubai has a square bar, stylish décor in a mix of steel and granite and offers cocktails inspired by emotions.

Zuma arrived on the scene with a bang in 2008. Already popular in London, the Dubai outpost was designed to make a statement with a space covering over 13,000 square feet and a bar and lounge area almost equal in size to its restaurant. With an opening team behind the bar fresh from London and a drinks list the likes of which had never been seen in Dubai, most of us were lining up to get in to Zuma faster than you could say 'Saketini'.

Three years on and Zuma's popularity endures. It is still irritatingly difficult to get a table on a Thursday night and the drinks list remains consistent in quality and diverse in choice. Embracing its Japanese roots, the cocktail list features the expected creations based on sake and shochu but classics are readily available and you can get one of the best Daiquiris in town here.
