Review

Lying slightly off the beaten track, even for Leith, this quaint little gastro pub is a real find. The whole place is reminiscent of an old lady's tea shop where the old dear has turned to the hard stuff and reopened as a pub. The trinkets around the maroon painted room with its old oak bar remain, as do the delicate china plates, cups and saucers.

The tea room feel is enhanced by the popular 'Pot-Tails', basically cocktails served in china tea pots with accompanying cups and saucers.

There's a very reasonably priced wine menu with appropriately quirky descriptions and interesting beers with Deuchers on hand pump. However, the excellent food remains the main attraction.
