This is the Bristol outpost of fledgling chain of bars linked to the annual Big Chill music festival, so DJs are obviously an important part of the offering and their decks sit on a converted industrial kitchen sink unit at the end of the bar counter.
The interior decor is utilitarian in style with bare plywood covering much of the walls and the same rough wood used for the bench-style tables and chairs. LP Sleeves cover the wall behind the DJ decks, while hippy-trippy art surrounds the chalkboards behind the bar.
A menu billed as being "market food from around the world" is served through a hatch from the kitchen and takes the form of tapas-style dishes made using eco friendly ingredients.
There are plenty of premium spirits on the back bar, a selection of 11 popular cocktails, a quirky selection of Spanish-led beers with Sagres on tap and a dozen wines available by the glass.
