Like many a good bar, the entrance this subterranean cocktail bar is discrete. It's dimly lit and cosy with slouchy sofas but Joyeux Bordel is made distinctive by two things - the quality of its cocktails and its sound system. This intimate space boasts 1970s tannoy dual 18 speakers powered by 1960s Quad II valve amplifiers, so unsurprisingly attracts an interesting line-up of guest DJs. If you're into your music, then Joyeux Bordel will make you Damn Happy.
