This is not your average bar - its only open from 11pm to 4am three days a week and you need to make a reservation (saxonybar@faena.com) in advance to secure your spot. Be sure you do as this is one of the very best bars in Miami.

With its own dedicated entrance Saxony sits beneath the Faena Hotel Miami Beach and even the greeting by what must be the politest bouncer in the whole of America is a sign of the quality of the offering inside. Descend the stairs into the plush DJ driven basement with black terrazzo, gold leave ceilings and Art Deco influenced design. You'll find the clientele tend to be as well presented and gorgeous as the room.

The lavish decadence extends to the brilliantly executed cocktails. We particularly liked the Excelsior (with Facundo Eximo rum, rhum agricole, Dolin blanc vermouth and Biggalet China-China) and The Good Earth (with Black Truffle Monkey Shoulder scotch, Cynar and absinthe).
