Review

Aptly described by Jason Scott, one of its owners, as a "drinking den-come-cocktail lounge." This dimly-lit semi-subterranean space, accessed down an innocuous flight of stairs, is home to concealed alcoves, comforting armchairs and cushioned benches.

Posh it is not, but fun it most certainly is. Bramble seems to achieve a great atmosphere even on the rare occasions when there are only a handful of people at the bar. Cocktails are consistently good and many pretty adventurous.

To once again quote Jason, "Named for Dick Bradsell's modern classic cocktail, Bramble is by name as Bramble is by nature: uncomplicated, inventive and downright tasty."
