Shochu Bar is to be found in the famous Hotel Adlon Kempinksi complex, just around the corner from the British Embassy and the Brandenburg Gate. Here you’ll find five-star service, surroundings, food and drink.
The quality of the food served at the hotel was established by Michelin starred chef Tim Raue and the bartending at Shochu is influenced by Japanese disciplines.
Luxuriant in granite and marble, this very slick lounge takes its name from the traditional Japanese spirit. Simply put, shochu is a kind of low-proof, flavoursome vodka. A wide variety of different types of shochu are available here and used as a base for many an imaginative and creative cocktail. Sake, the other great Japanese libation, is also well represented. Also look out for house infusions in Bacardi 8-year-old rum, such as saffron and various Japanese teas.
Once you settle into one of the comfortable bar stools you’ll not want to leave.
