To quote owner, Simon Sheena, 'Public House' is so named in reference to the great British drinking tradition - it redefines a national institution. Sadly your average pub does not offer the drinks choices found at this particular public house.

Simon has transformed this long narrow space with an eclectic mix of chunky retro furnishings with plenty of sofas and armchairs. Unusually, all the furniture is for sale and priced accordingly on the menu.

The Public House boasts more than its fair share of talented bartenders and an owner who is serious about his drinks, so it goes without saying that the cocktails here are superb and range from rare classics to dignified originals.

The no 'house pour' policy and extensive range of premium spirits forces patrons to make a considered brand choice. The wine list includes some interesting bins with eleven wines available by the glass while a good bottled beer line-up includes Brooklyn Lager, Flying Dog Pale Ale and Meantime London Porter.
