Medalla Light is the flagship brand of Compañía Cervecera de Puerto Rico, one of the two domestic breweries supplying Puerto Rico with the majority of its beer. The company was established in 1937 by brothers Alfonso, Sabino and Ramón Valdés Cobián.

Review and Tasting

Appearance:

Very pale, bright yellow gold with lacklustre white head which quickly fades to little more than a ring of foam.

Aroma:

Subdued white crusty loaf with faint hops and grassy aromas.

Taste:

Light, and let's face it, bland corn palate with a touch of cardboard and grass. Annoyingly easy to drink.

Aftertaste:

What finish? Nothing particularly bad, just practically nothing.
