Distilled in 2001 at Bunnahabhain and aged 12 years. This single cask was bottled in 2013 yielding 812 bottles (released in April 2013). Chocolate Honeycomb is part of a range of single cask malts from Wemyss (prounced 'weems') with names also inspired by each whisky's flavour.

Appearance:

Clear, deep golden amber.

Aroma:

Slightly burnt chocolate sponge cake and newly baked bread spread with acacia honey.

Taste:

Dry, slightly bitter cacao balanced with light honey sweetness and delicate ripe pear fruit.

Aftertaste:

Lingering chocolate sponge cake with light warming spice.
