Ingredients
1 2/3 fl oz Blended Scotch whisky
1/3 fl oz Pastis
5/6 fl oz Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
5/12 fl oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2 sugar to 1 water) 65.0°Brix
1/2 fl oz Egg white (pasteurised) or Fee Brothers Fee Foam cocktail foamer
3 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters

How to make

Glassware

Serve in an Old-fashioned glass

Prepare

  1. Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
  2. Prepare garnish of skewered lemon slice wheel and Luxardo Maraschino Cherry sail. (Skewer through either side of lemon with cherry skewered in the centre.)

Method

  1. SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. STRAIN back into shaker.
  3. DRY SHAKE (without ice).
  4. FINE STRAIN into ice-filled glass.

Garnish

  1. Garnish with skewered lemon slice wheel and maraschino cherry (sail).

Tried the original very pleasant, however, my wife asked me to alter it. I replaced the Pastis with Jäegermeister result was a in our opinion improved cocktail. Still with the sour aspect but the additional herb input was I believe to be a better flavor
