Perched on Santorini's Caldera in Imerovigli, Bar Navagio is a family-owned and run cocktail bar which opened in 2018, when Nikolas Renieris took over part of his family's 19th-century neoclassical building.
Long before cocktails were served here, the building housed the family's grocery store and has been a gathering place for the local community for decades. Nikolas continues that tradition of hospitality by welcoming visitors from around the world with creative cocktails and warm Greek hospitality.
Central to Bar Navagio's identity is the commitment to develop an entirely new cocktail concept and menu each year. The current menu, "A Journey Shared", draws inspiration from the life and travels of Nikolas' father, Yiannis Renieris, a sailor whose voyages took him around the world multiple times. Individual cocktails interpret chapters of his story through their flavours, presentation, and accompanying narratives, turning a family history into the thread that connects the menu.
