Perched atop Stockholm's five-star Bank Hotel, Le Hibou resembles the plush living room of an upscale penthouse apartment with floor to ceiling windows opening out onto the roof terrace either side. Le Hibou has its own street entrance separate from that of the hotel and even in winter, the limited capacity means that at weekends you'll need to come here early to ensure entry.

The white marble bar sits centre stage between warmly lit lounge areas with low boxy white leather sofas beneath a chrome illuminated slatted ceiling.

A list of 14 signature cocktails offer a wide variety of styles and flavours and we particularly liked the Bubo Bubo with rye whiskey, Cynar, Montenegro, honey and a mist of Islay whisky.
