Coco Reàl Cream of Coconut was launched in 2009 and is preferred by many bartenders due to its squeezy bottle being easier to handle than the cans other brands of cream of coconut are packaged in.

As the name might imply, Coco Re'al contains real coconut and unlike most similar products also uses coconut flesh as well as the milk. Coco Real benefits from modern homogenization techniques to ensure this product remains in an emulsion so unlike other cream of coconut products does not separate.

The use of artificial preservatives ensures that unopened Coco Reàl will last for 12 months and is safe to use without refrigeration for 3 months once opened, although refrigeration will extend shelf life.

Ingredients
Coconut concentrate (18%), sugar, humectant: glycerol, salt, emulsifier: mono and diglycerides of fatty acids, thickener: sodium alginate and xanthan gum, antioxidant: tocopherol-rich extract, preservative: potassium sorbate, acid: citric acid.

Appearance:

Opaque, milky white.

Aroma:

Pungent desiccated coconut.

Taste:

Sweetened coconut pulp. Lacks that chemically note evident in some other brands of cream of coconut.

Aftertaste:

Very sweet desiccated coconut.

Overall:

Good sweetened coconut flavour and so much more convenient to use than similar tinned cream of coconut products.
