The Merlet family deservedly has something of a reputation for their macerated fruit liqueurs, particularly cassis (blackcurrant). Gilles Merlet was one of the regions pioneers in the 1970’s.

Appearance:
Clear, deep burgundy with hints of violet.
Aroma:
Jammy raspberry with blackberry and blueberry.
Taste:
Rich with syrupy sweetness balanced but fruit acidity and tannins. Intense raspberry fruit.
Aftertaste:
Jammy raspberry and blueberry with fruit acidity.
