Wokka Saki is a blend of vodka, sake and fruit essence. Neutral wheat grain spirit is redistilled in a 400 litre stainless steel pot still known as ‘Tom Thumb’ at London’s Thames Distillery. The resulting spirit is then blended with 20% Japanese honjozo-shu sake and a touch of fruit essence.
The label claims inspiration from ‘the snow monsters of Mt. Zao’. These are giant conifer trees on the slopes of Mount Zao in Japan which are covered with ice during winter and form distorted shapes that stick out of the frozen landscape.

Wokka Saki was launched in South Beach Miami in April 2005. And, although it is made in the UK, it was launched in the UK in Spring 2006. In Europe, this product was renamed Wokka Fusion in July 2008.
