This bottle conditioned Belgian-style Triple is named after the mythical Greek three-headed dog that guards the gates of hell.
Sampled on 10/02/2012
Hazy, copper-orange amber with medium head which quickly disappears with no lacing.
Subdued tangerine citrus and coriander influenced, bready malty nose.
High alcohol content very evident on the barleywine-like bready malty palate with stewed fruit and light hop spice.
Yeasty, slightly sour finish with linger spiced doughy bread flavours.
